We are celebrating lost job. Cornwall steel stinks from the aluminium factory across the river. We should remaind sad when the mill close that eans inconemy went to hell. Good pay9ing jobs for the unfortunit in Cornwall is 10.00/hr big deal. So for the once that think that by Domtar closing it's doors was the best thing ever happen to Cornwall, The should really consider given there head a shake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Send a press release to everyone who will read it and get the media involved. Let's tell the world that Cornwall doesn't stink anymore and put a positive media spin on it. Maybe there is some kind of guiness book or world records thing we could do. I know, the biggest object ever pulled down without the help of a mechanical device. We'll tie a big rope to it and get like 20,000 people to pull it down by hand, wouldn't that be something :) We should do more than take them down, we should do everything we can to promote that we are taking them down. I have relatives who live in Alberta - and they came down in June. They said they were happy they didn't have to hold their nose anymore! My sister goes to Potsdam University - so I frequently travel the bridge. I always look down at the land and am so excited for the new developments that will be happening. It looks awful now - and looks bad for Cornwall's image. I'm not exactly sure why people want to build around the smokestack. Instead take a picture to remember it like we do with everything else....
